We are seeking a Care Assistant to join our new homecare team in Sheffield. As a Care Assistant, you will provide personal care that protects people's dignity, promote independence using enabling approaches, and support people to meet their outcomes, involving families and professionals.
You will connect people to their communities, accessing local support and services. You will deliver personalised care through individual choice and control, using our Be Caring values to go Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
Our induction training will equip you with the skills you need to be an outstanding Care Assistant. You will learn about dignity and respect, safeguarding and equality and diversity, confidentiality and professional boundaries, and much more.
As a Care Assistant in Birley for Be Caring, you will work aligned to our shift patterns, which include early starts, late evenings, and weekend working. You will agree on your working pattern, setting a 2-week rota which includes alternate full weekends and evenings as agreed within your working hours.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £12.30 (drivers) and 40p per mile for drivers. You will also receive up to £300 Refer a Friend bonus, up to £300 annual bonus, and £25 birthday gift voucher.
Our benefits include fully funded DBS, paid induction training, training development, holiday pay, and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP). You will also have the opportunity to join our partnership with the GMB union.
