Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Scientist to join our team at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of staff, analyzing and interpreting data, and contributing to patient diagnosis and treatment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical physiology, with experience in cardiac rhythm management devices and extensive knowledge of cardiac procedures. A Master's level degree or equivalent qualification in Healthcare Science is essential, as well as accreditation with IBHRE or HRUK and membership of the Society for Cardiological Science and Technology (MSCST).

The salary for this position is £43,742-£50,056 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 27 days minimum annual leave plus bank holidays, cycle to work scheme, flexible working, and extensive in-house course learning directory.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent leadership and management abilities, self-discipline, and self-motivation. They will also be able to engage the team, develop changes in working practices, and prioritize workload effectively.
