About the Role

We are seeking a Trainee Accounts Assistant to provide support for the day-to-day accounts function within our business. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the day-to-day processing of purchase ledger & sales ledger for the client account, taking calls on the Payment line for card payments, and ensuring the client database is kept up to date and accurate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing the day-to-day processing of purchase ledger & sales ledger for the client account.
  • Taking calls on the Payment line for card payments.
  • Cheques to be banked daily.
  • Receipting monies into client account
  • Chasing aged debt.
  • Ensuring the client database is kept up to date and accurate.
  • Assisting with Loan renewals on Premium Finance
  • Ad-hoc support to the Accounts Supervisor.
