Casual = The services provided to Fife Sports and Leisure Trust are on an "ad hoc" basis, hours as and when required

Location: Fife Wide

Salary: FC5 £13.76 per hour/FC6 £15.05 per hour (Depending on Qualification)

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and qualified Netball Instructors to deliver sports/physical activity sessions to the agreed standard as outlined by your sporting governing body or the company's in-house programme.

As a Casual Netball Instructor, you will be responsible for adapting lessons as appropriate in response to individual/group's needs, ensuring activities are carried out in a safe and appropriate manner, and contributing towards a good customer experience.

You will also be required to have a minimum Qualification: UKCC Level 1 Netball Qualification, First Aid Qualification, Child Protection Training, and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

Responsibilities
  • Assist under supervision in teaching a limited range of basic skills to a small group
  • Ensure activities are carried out in a safe and appropriate manner

  • Awareness/knowledge of policies and procedures

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who can give clear instruction, demonstrations, and feedback on performances, communicate effectively with participants, teachers, parents, volunteers, and team members, and contribute to progress reports, verbal or written, of class participants.

The ideal candidate will also demonstrate an understanding of Health and Safety when delivering gymnastic lessons, have the ability to demonstrate enthusiasm, inspire confidence, and motivate participants, and commit to undertaking continuous personal development as required by both FSLT and any appropriate professional body.
