Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver and collect bulk goods, including scrap metals, using a curtain-sided or flatbed trailer.
  • Ensure load security and stability at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Plan and optimize routes to ensure efficient delivery and collection of goods.
  • Collaborate with the transport team to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Attend regular training sessions to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid UK Class 1 CE Licence.
  • Hold a current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
  • Be able to work regular nights away from home.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Have strong geographical knowledge and be able to navigate efficiently.
  • Be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.
