Job Summary:

We are seeking a Trade Counter Assistant to join our team at Adecco. As a Trade Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for serving members of the public on the trade counter, taking payment and advising on products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving customers on the trade counter and providing excellent customer service.
  • Answering incoming calls and logging jobs and new orders on the system.
  • Assisting in the yard with preparing stock for delivery.
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring necessary amounts of each product are in stock.
  • Occasionally making deliveries to local customers.

Requirements:

  • A team player with excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Previous experience in dealing with customers both face-to-face and over the phone.
  • Counterbalance forklift experience (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience in stock control and stores roles (desirable).
