Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Functional Skills Tutor to join our team at Recruited UK. As a leading training provider, we offer a unique opportunity to work with small groups of learners, developing their skills, knowledge, and behaviours while supporting them in achieving their long-term goals and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences to learners, focusing on English and maths skills.
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, ensuring a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and provide feedback to learners, identifying areas for improvement and celebrating successes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance the overall learning experience.
  • Contribute to the development of curriculum materials and resources, ensuring they meet the needs of learners.
Requirements
  • Experience in teaching English and maths, preferably in a training or education setting.
  • Hold a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with learners and colleagues.
  • Good IT skills, with experience of using a range of digital tools and resources.
  • Confidence in promoting an effective and inclusive learning environment, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
