About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for programming and maintaining industrial robotic systems, including setup and installation of robots from a single robot to multiple robot cells. The ideal candidate will possess strong programming skills, as well as experience with troubleshooting and startup support. Effective communication and collaboration with the robotic department and other departments are essential to ensure a quality product.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Program robot paths, set up program structure, and implement offline programming.
  2. Work on Robot drawings and configurations.
  3. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  4. Collaborate with the Robotic Supervisor to monitor workload and deadlines.
  5. Program, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial robotic systems.
  6. Develop robot programs using native programming languages.
  7. Test and validate robot programs to ensure proper functionality and performance.
  8. Identify and resolve programming issues, including de-bugging and optimization.
  9. Document programming processes, procedures, and changes for reference and training purposes.
  10. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in robot programming.
  11. Work collaboratively to achieve project/company goals.
  12. Flexibility to travel within Europe and beyond.
  13. Effective communicator both written and verbal in English.
Your preferred qualifications
  1. Qualified to a minimum HNC level or equivalent in Manufacturing/Electrical/Mechatronics Engineering.
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in programming robots.
  3. Good understanding of IO, transfer of information between Robot and PLC, and PLC functionality.
  4. Good understanding of robot program flow and basic programming theories.
  5. Experience in robotic spot welding, MIG welding, material handling is required.
  6. Practical experience and good understanding of electrical circuitry and wiring.
  7. Sound mechanical ability to work on robot dress packages and peripheral equipment.
  8. Computer skills using Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
