We are looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Classroom Learning Facilitator at a respected secondary school in Bolton, Greater Manchester. As a key member of the educational staff, you will play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning across various subjects. This full-time, fixed-term position runs from January 2025 until July 2025, with potential for direct extension.

Your primary duties will involve working closely with students and teachers to provide targeted assistance and support. You will be responsible for nurturing and facilitating the growth of students, particularly those with additional needs such as Autism and ADHD. To achieve this, you will need to:

  • Assist students in Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4), providing tailored support to meet their individual needs
  • Collaborate with students who have diverse learning requirements, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
  • Participate in lesson planning and delivery under the guidance of experienced classroom teachers

We require candidates with prior experience working with young people, especially in educational settings. A minimum of grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) is mandatory. Applicants should also possess a current DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one. Preference will be given to graduates with experience working with young people with SEND.

The annual salary for this position is estimated at approximately £22,800 – £24,700, depending on experience.
