As a supply teacher, you will be supporting our schools to deliver high-quality education to pupils across various age and ability ranges. Key areas include Support and Challenge, Teaching and Learning; Digital Literacy; Welsh in Education, Additional Learning Needs, Pupil Wellbeing, Education Governance, School Admissions, Culture, Infrastructure and Resources, and Childcare Unit.

You will be part of a dedicated team that operates a bilingual policy, ensuring equal opportunities for applicants. Your contribution will help maintain continuity of effective teaching and learning during staff absences.

Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
  2. Assist in raising pupil attainment and promoting progress
  3. Apply positive behaviour management strategies to create a productive learning environment
  4. Provide subject expertise and contribute to curriculum development
  5. Show adaptability and flexibility when working in diverse school settings
  6. Commit to ongoing professional development and growth

As part of this commitment, certain roles within our organisation require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to assess suitability. This role will require an Enhanced DBS check, where we assess each applicant on a case-by-case basis and consider the nature and relevance of any convictions in relation to the responsibilities of the role.
