Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced plaster technician to provide a comprehensive orthopaedic and trauma plaster service for the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow. The successful candidate will have completed the British Casting Certificate (BCC) plaster technician course or equivalent and work according to the Association of Orthopaedic Practitioners (AOP) and British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) code of professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a high-quality plaster service for patients in the orthopaedic and trauma clinics.
  • Work autonomously and as part of a team to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of plaster techniques and materials.

Person Specification

  • Essential
    • British Casting Certificate (BCC) plaster technician course or equivalent.
    • English GCSE or equivalent.
  • Desirable
    • Previous experience of working in the NHS.
