About the Role

Arcus Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager - Construction to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Delivery: Take full day-to-day responsibility for the safe, successful, and profitable execution of nominated projects.
  • Site Management: Ensure works are carried out safely and to a high standard, complying with relevant legislation and codes of practice.
  • Client Relationships: Liaise closely with clients, sub-contractors, and in-house teams, building and maintaining good working relationships.
  • Reporting and Progress: Support the Contracts Manager and provide accurate and timely information to assist in progress and other operational reporting.
  • Team Management: Manage and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
  • Procurement: Procure materials for each phase of the project.
  • Quality and Safety: Conduct quality and safety inspections, checking and preparing site reports, designs, and drawings.
  • Workforce Motivation: Motivate the workforce and deal with day-to-day problems and issues.
  • Supply Chain Management: Proactively manage the supply chain.
  • Governance and Control: Deliver projects in line with the Arcus Solutions governance and control structure.
  • Quality and Health and Safety: Deliver projects in line with all relevant Arcus Solutions policies, quality, and health and safety management systems.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience of working in a construction projects company/division and project site management experience.
  • Knowledge and Skills: SMSTS, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid at Work, Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, PASMA/IPAF/Hot Works/Temporary Works (desirable), good understanding of CDM Regs and current HSQE legislation, sound technical knowledge, and good commercial awareness.
