The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload, representing police forces, and presenting cases in court. Main Responsibilities

  1. Act on behalf of police forces, managing caseloads and presenting cases in court.
  2. Represent police forces and advocate in disclosure applications to the Family court.
  3. Present cases in the Magistrates' and County courts.
  4. Provide face-to-face training to groups of police officers.
  5. Assist the Team Manager and other team members with their cases.
  6. Liaise with various parties.
  7. Control Case Manager diary and action lists.
  8. Attend court hearings as appropriate.
  9. Draft various documents.

Requirements

  • Qualification as a solicitor or barrister.
  • Experience of advising and acting on behalf of police forces (desirable).
  • Experience of advocacy in the Magistrates' Court (desirable).
