Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Logistics Specialist / Furniture Installer to become a vital part of our active on-site installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
Based from our headquarters in Norfolk, you will be tasked with working at various customer locations across the UK. A company vehicle, necessary tools, and uniforms will be provided for your convenience. The role may involve early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays.
Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for adaptable candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- Proficient in surveying customer locations and taking precise measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent general DIY skills with practical knowledge of furniture assembly.
- Ability to operate electric hand tools effectively.
- Outstanding customer service skills, as you will represent our company.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills.
- Capability to prepare reports and communicate findings to the head office.
- Self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Full, clean driving license held for over two years.
- Knowledge of manual handling techniques (some heavy lifting required).
- Familiarity with UK geography.
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
