Job Description Summary

The Commercial Driver position involves operating a commercial motor vehicle driving between pick-up and destination terminals, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.

  • Candidates must ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
  • They must also detect and eliminate or minimize safety hazards and maintain accurate records and logs.
  • Loading/Unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer is also a key responsibility.

This role also involves performing other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • A H.S. Diploma/GED, which is preferred.
  • A minimum of 9 months verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • No more than one moving violation or accidents (anything other than parking) in the last 12 months.
  • A valid Commercial Driver's License with air brake endorsement.
