Overview

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Technician to join their fleet maintenance team. As an HGV Trailer Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out routine checks and repairs on commercial vehicles.

About the role

We are looking for a Commercial Fleet Mechanic who has experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair. You will have a good understanding of HGV trailers and be able to diagnose faults efficiently.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £38,000 basic, with the opportunity to earn up to £42,000 OTE.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintenance and repair of HGV trailers
  • Pre MOT checks and repairs
  • Quality control tests

Requirements

  • City & Guilds / NVQ level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair
  • HGV licence Class 1 (desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in double deck maintenance (desirable)
