Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team at The London Clinic. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our theatres.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the operating department.
  • Deliver safe quality care for patients during their peri-operative phase of care.
  • Undertake clinical ongoing responsibility for the designated area in which you are allocated.
  • Provide managerial accountability in the absence of the Team Leader under the supervision of the Deputy Theatre Manager.
  • Directly supervise and train junior staff to ensure a high-quality and cost-effective service to patients and users.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse or Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
  • Post-registration qualification, i.e. Advanced Scrub Practitioner qualification is desirable.
  • Expert Scrub nurse/practitioner with experience of applying clinical reasoning skills across a varied patient case mix.
  • Multi-skilled experience across various specialities including, robotic surgery, general surgery, urology, ortho & gynae.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in sensitive and challenging situations.
