Electrical Maintenance Engineer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Arthur Rose Recruitment Ltd. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering professional engineering services to our busy foundry operations and manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.
  • Perform daily scheduled TPMs to a high standard, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Communicate effectively with production and team leaders to prioritize machine breakdowns and ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct shift handovers to ensure seamless transitions and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in project work and plant improvement initiatives as required.
  • Assist the Works engineer in root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring breakdowns.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of risk assessment and safety protocols.
  • Discuss production activity and problems with managers and supervisors.
  • Collaborate with direct managers to discuss work requirements and issues.
Role Requirements:
  • Proven experience in heavy industry.
  • Time-served Apprenticeship or HNC qualifications with relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in PLC fault finding.

This is a day-only role working on a Panama Shift Pattern.
