About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dietitian to join our team at Velindre Cancer Centre. As a Senior Dietitian, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our Head and Neck cancer services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside the Dietetic team and the Head and Neck multi-disciplinary team to deliver a high-quality service to patients.
  • Configure dietetic service provision for the Head and Neck population served by Velindre Cancer Centre.
  • Undertake service development, quality improvement projects, and audit.
  • Teach other healthcare professionals and supervise Dietitians and undergraduate students.
Requirements
  • Degree or equivalent in dietetics.
  • Current HCPC registration.
  • MSc qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Significant experience of working in adult dietetics at a senior level.
  • Previous considerable clinical experience relevant to head and neck services.
  • Experience of working as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • Member of specialist interest group.
  • Attendance at relevant accredited courses.
  • Experience of staff/service management.
  • Experience of service delivery in a variety of relevant clinical settings.
