A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CNC MACHINIST

**About the Role**

You will be part of a highly motivated team at Adecco, where you will operate CNC Machines to produce various Turbine products. Your key responsibility will be to follow work instructions and meet company standards.

**Your Impact**

- Contribute to the production team with your skill, experience, and knowledge of setting and operating CNC machines to a high standard.

- Ensure machinery setup is safe and ready to handle its assigned load, and load material into machines.

- Understand engineering drawings and CMM readouts to enable you to carry out various operations.

- Examine machinery production output to verify the product is acceptable to move onto the next part of the production process.

- Perform first principal gauging and CMM Measurement of components to ensure conformity by adjusting tool offsets, speed, the path of the cut, and other factors.

- Maintain and update records about the machine's operation.

- Regularly inspect machines for mechanical and safety issues.

- Work a flexible schedule to keep up with production demand during busy production periods.

**What We're Looking For**

- Preferably completed a recognised full level 3 apprenticeship, or candidates with an NVQ level 3 or Technical certificate in a relevant engineering field.

- Must have CNC Machining experience.

- A knowledge of Fanuc, Mazatrol, Heidenhain, Okuma controls is desirable, but not essential.

- Safety attitude, detail-orientated, problem-solving skills, mechanical talent.
