Conveyancer Assistant Role

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing sale files and escalating matters to the Conveyancer, ensuring seamless progress
- Obtaining Land Registry documents or title deeds, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Drafting sales contracts and agreeing terms with the Conveyancer, requiring excellent communication skills
- Assisting the Conveyancer with purchase and other matters, providing expert support
- Diarising and chasing matters as necessary, demonstrating exceptional organisational skills
- Providing telephone support to the team, delivering a first-class customer service
- Preparing accounts and files for exchange and completion, meeting strict deadlines
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to:
- Manage their workload efficiently, prioritising tasks and managing time effectively
- Ensure the case management system is accurate and up-to-date, adhering to industry standards
- Perform general admin duties, including post, printing, scanning, and photocopying, showing adaptability
This role demands relevant residential conveyancing experience, strong communication skills, a proactive approach to work, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to understand conveyancing protocols.
