Role Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Commis Waiter to join our Food & Beverage Department at Raffles London at the OWO. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a luxurious setting, delivering outstanding guest service and contributing to our continued effort to excel in the hospitality industry.

Job Responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Menu and Products: The successful candidate will have thorough knowledge of our menu and all products, ensuring accurate delivery of food orders to customers' tables.
  • Fine Dining Service: As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing your tasks to the highest standards, providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.
  • Communication and Teamwork: You will act as the contact point between Front of the House and Back of the House staff, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Table Setting and Logistics: You will assist the wait staff with table setting, fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils, and napkins, ensuring a polished and professional presentation.
  • Safety and Quality Standards: You will ensure that food is served in accordance with safety standards, maintaining the highest level of quality and hygiene in our kitchen and dining areas.
  • Customer Feedback and Communication: You will inform restaurant staff about customers' feedback or requests, enhancing our service quality and addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Sustainability and Best Practices: You will commit to best possible sustainable practices daily, minimizing waste management and promoting environmentally friendly purchasing habits.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills: You will possess excellent skills where a positive environment culture is created by strong values, including teamwork, compassion, open-mindedness, a positive attitude, good communication skills, and excellent grooming standards.
  • Previous Luxury Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in the luxury hospitality industry is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to adapt to high-end environments and provide exceptional service.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: You will demonstrate flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations, demonstrating your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
