Job Summary:

First Bus is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Bus Driver Trainee. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring the safe transportation of passengers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our passengers
  • Operate a bus safely and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Participate in our comprehensive training program to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals

Our Training Program:

Our comprehensive training program will equip you with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed as a bus driver. You will receive a mix of online and face-to-face workshops, delivered by industry experts and our specialist training partners. You will also have the opportunity to achieve a nationally recognized qualification in Maths and English (if required).

Requirements:

  • Proof of your Right to Work in the UK
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Have lived in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the UK for at least the three years
  • Be flexible to work on a rota/shift basis
  • Have great people skills
