Job Summary

The North Staffordshire Combined Healthcare Trust is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Mental Health Practitioner to join our team at the Darwin Centre. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to younger people and contributing to the development of innovative practice.

Main Responsibilities
  • Deliver care and supervise others in the caring process, ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
  • Participate in the management of the team and unit, promoting effective integration with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Act as a role model for junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of excellent care.
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-focused care.
  • Contribute to the development of ideas and innovative practice, ensuring care activities are research-based and aligned with best practice.
