The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating Class 1 and 2 vehicles, ensuring the efficient and effective collection, transportation, and disposal of customers' waste. The role requires adherence to company processes and procedures, including health and safety protocols, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive and operate Class 1 and 2 vehicles safely and efficiently.
  • Collect, transport, and dispose of customers' waste in accordance with company procedures.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and report any incidents or near misses.
  • Conduct routine vehicle checks and report any defects.
  • Complete all paperwork, including daily timesheets, accurately and on time.
  • Provide sickness, breakdown, and holiday cover for other colleagues as needed.
  • Attend training courses, meetings, and tool-box-talks to maintain skills and knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with internal colleagues and external customers.
Requirements:
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience.
  • Previous Class 2 experience.
  • DCPC qualification.
  • Valid ADR qualification.
