Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Monmouth Comprehensive School. As a key member of our food production team, you will be responsible for the efficient preparation and presentation of high-quality meals, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to health and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Effective management of food production processes to minimize waste and optimize efficiency
  • Maintenance of high-quality food standards, adhering to Aramark's brand requirements
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of volumes consumed and overproduction, supporting inventory management
  • Assisting in shift opening and closing checklists, maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Providing guidance and training to new team members, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 Culinary or equivalent qualification
  • Food hygiene certificate - Level 2
  • Previous experience in food production roles within catering or retail, demonstrating customer-focused skills and adaptability
