**Job Overview:**

We are partnering with Ford Halewood Transmissions Ltd (FHTL) to recruit a Measurement Room Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to join a global automotive industry leader that manufactures or distributes vehicles across six continents.

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this role is £43,912.80 pa (inclusive of 35% holiday bonus for 33 days per year; 25 vacation & 8 bank holidays). The benefits package includes hours of work from Monday to Thursday 7:00-15:30 and Friday 7:00-12:30 or 3 shift; Earlies, Lates, Nights shifts options, access to the Employee Development and Assistance Programme, and a unique opportunity to access Ford's Privilege scheme.

Responsibilities:

• Work in both metrology and metallurgical laboratories, measuring internal and externally purchased components.
• Support commissioning of new measurement equipment.
• Develop test methods and continuous improvement opportunities.

Requirements:

• Completed Mechanical/Electrical apprenticeship or an HNC/HND equivalent in a relevant subject.
• Good knowledge of measurement principles and processes.
• Background in metrology or metallurgy laboratory measurement preferable.
• Computer literacy - good knowledge of Word, Excel.
