Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at GLG Vets in Saffron Walden, Essex. As part of our vibrant and growing veterinary practice, you will provide exceptional care to animals while working in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine examinations, diagnostics, and treatments on various animals.
  • Conduct surgical procedures as needed, including spaying, neutering, and other minor surgeries.
  • Collaborate with veterinary nurses and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide guidance and advice to pet owners on general care, feeding, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient histories, treatments, and progress.

Salary & Benefits: £40,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits. We offer a 4-day week and flexible working hours, with one in four Saturdays.
