Nursing Associate Trainee

About the Role:
The Holy Cross Hospital is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our nursing team as a Trainee Nursing Associate. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented and passionate individual to embark on a 2-year apprenticeship program, combining academic and work-based learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as a Senior Health Care Assistant until the program begins in February 2025
- Undertake tasks and duties defined in the TNA role under the supervision of Registered Nurses
- Attend university one day per week and experience working in alternative settings to gain a wide appreciation of health and care contexts
Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year previous experience in a HCA role is desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent Numeracy skills
- Maths & English Grade C/4 GCSE or Level 2 Functional skills are a must
- Adaptability and flexibility
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Ability to be self-directing
- Teamwork

Holy Cross Hospital is a registered Charity and owned by the Daughters of the Cross. Our expertise is in the provision of neuro-rehabilitation for our patients. We presently have 42 in-patient beds and provide OP Physiotherapy for the local community.
