About the Role:


We are seeking a skilled Sales Manager to join our Conference Department, driving revenue growth across our global events portfolio. With 50+ annual events connecting leaders in the plastics industry, this role offers a unique opportunity to develop and execute sales strategies, securing new business and customer retention.


Responsibilities:



  • Event Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement sales plans to achieve revenue targets for assigned events.
  • Customer Outreach: Build and maintain relationships with key clients through regular meetings, ensuring long-term loyalty and retention.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with event project teams, communicating progress and addressing project challenges with the Event Sales Team Manager.

Requirements:



  • Proven Sales Experience: A strategic sales manager with experience managing multiple products or projects simultaneously.
  • Industry Knowledge: Preferably with a background in the events industry, although not essential.
  • Travel Requirements: Regular travel to events across Asia, the USA, and Europe is expected.

What We Offer:



  • Competitive Salary: £25,000 - £33,000 per annum, plus an additional commission scheme.
