About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IFA Administrator to join our team at mbf. as a Financial Planning Support Specialist. As a key member of our Financial Planning department, you will provide technical support to our team of Senior Financial Planners, ensuring the delivery of exceptional client outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our Financial Planners and their clients, providing exceptional customer service and support.
  • Work closely with our Paraplanning and other internal teams to facilitate efficient and quality administration, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Ensure client reviews are conducted in a timely and appropriate manner, in line with documented service levels and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with the scheduling of reviews and meetings, ensuring all necessary information and paperwork is prepared and up-to-date.
  • Process Letters of Authority and submit business to various platforms and providers, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Maintain a basic level of industry knowledge through private reading and attending workshops, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years administrative experience, with at least 1 year in an IFA environment.
  • Responsibility, accountability, and the ability to be proactive and intuitive in role.
  • Attention to detail and pride in work.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
