Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Work Lyf Group Limited. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair duties in a heavy industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of plant, machinery, and site facilities.
  2. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, crushers, furnaces, and other equipment.
  3. Conduct basic fault finding and repair of motors, inverters, contactors, sensors, relays, and other electrical components.
  4. Replace bearings, housing, and motors as required.
  5. Carry out single-phase, three-phase, and 24 VDC electrical fault finding and repair.
  6. Perform welding and fabricating tasks when necessary.
  7. Repair distribution boards, panels, wiring, and other electrical systems.
  8. Assist in new installations and support the wider maintenance team on tasks within your capability.
  9. Ensure adherence to company policies, rules, and regulations relating to safety, health, performance standards, procedures, processes, and training requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Recognised engineering, mechanical, or electrical qualification.
  2. Demonstrable fault-finding experience.
  3. Previous experience in maintaining production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  4. Time-served or experienced within a manufacturing (medium to heavy) or process-driven environment.

Working Hours: A mixture of days and nights rotating - 4 on 3 off.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Work Location: One location.

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year.
