Job Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Emergency Department Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join the Emergency Care Directorate's Administration Team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

This is a permanent position requiring a professional and sensitive manner, with the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.

You will possess a good standard of education, previous experience of working in an administrative/customer service setting, and excellent communication skills.

You will work with a friendly team providing a variety of reception and administrative duties to assist the smooth running of the Emergency Department.

The ability to speak Welsh to a minimum of Level 1 is essential for this post.

Main Duties

To provide an efficient reception and administration service to the Emergency Department, working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to ensure an effective service is provided and patient satisfaction is maximised.

By the nature of the duties, the post holder will be required to maintain strict confidentiality and deal with staff, patients, carers, and relatives with courtesy and discretion at all times.
