Job Role: Rigger

As a Rigger at PJD Mechanical Engineering Ltd, you will be responsible for the execution of rigging and lifting duties, including developing lifting plans, inspecting lifting equipment, and carrying out risk assessments.

The role aims to ensure the safe and efficient completion of tasks to the highest quality while supporting the company's overall objectives and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lifting plans to ensure safe and efficient execution of tasks
  • Inspect lifting equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
  • Carry out risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement mitigating measures
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth execution of tasks and projects
Requirements:
  • Confined Space Medium Risk (training may be available if required)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Travel expected across the UK for varying periods
  • 20 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays
  • Up to 7% pension contribution
