About the Role

The Durham Social Science Enterprise Lab aims to scale up the impact of social science research through commercialization. We are seeking a skilled Research Assistant to support teams of researchers and practitioners in conducting solution-oriented research.

Key Responsibilities

Research

  • Undertake research as appropriate to the field of study including conducting literature reviews, collecting and analysing data.
  • Provide ready access to all experimental data for the faculty researcher and/or supervisor.

Organisation and Communication

  • Manage and respond to project related email.
  • Attend project meetings, seminars and other meetings as necessary.

Development and Implementation

  • Assist in the development and design of products for the Social Science Enterprise Lab.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of the marketing for the Social Science Enterprise Lab (website, toolkits, social media).
Requirements

A good first degree in Business Management, Marketing, social science, arts & humanities.

Experience in planning and organising meetings involving different stakeholders.
