Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Charity Development Administrator. This role will play a key part in supporting the effective management of our charity's operations and ensuring the delivery of our programmes and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the charity's development team, including coordinating events, managing databases, and preparing reports.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of fundraising strategies, including researching and writing grant applications.
  • Support the charity's communications team in the creation and dissemination of marketing materials, including social media and email campaigns.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the charity's website and other digital platforms.
  • Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, and service users.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the charity sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours.
  • Knowledge of fundraising and marketing principles, with experience of grant writing and social media marketing.
