The Opportunity

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer at Glanbia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the swift resolution of any Plant breakdowns on the Middlesbrough Site. You will assist the Maintenance Manager in completing the Site PPM Schedule on a daily, weekly, and annual basis. This permanent position will report to the Engineering Manager.

  • Achieve required output with minimum wasted effort, time, and expense.

The Skills You Will Bring

  • Previous food processing industry experience is highly desirable.
  • You will have electrical and/or mechanical qualifications or a time-served apprenticeship.
  • 2 years' experience of working in an automated production environment.
  • A good standard of both written and oral English.
  • Basic Food Hygiene and Basic Health & Safety qualifications.
  • Data and analytical skills.
  • Computer literacy in word, excel, and windows-based packages.
  • Desirable skills include PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, temperature control, instrumentation, and welding.

The opportunity will be based in Middlesbrough, onsite, with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
