Financial Services Manager
At the City of Lincoln Council, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Manager to join our team. This exciting opportunity will see you contribute to all aspects of the financial standing, management, and reporting of the Council's financial resources.
As a key finance post, you will support the delivery of a comprehensive finance service, with a particular focus on providing advice and analysis for all aspects of revenue planning, monitoring, and accounting. This includes contributing to the development of business cases and projects.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified CCAB accountant with excellent technical accounting skills. Significant experience of the preparation of statutory accounts, budget preparation, and budgetary control is essential. You must be proficient in the use of computerised financial systems.
You will be an innovative self-starter with an aptitude for interpreting, explaining, and applying accounting standards and policies. An analytic approach in evaluating business proposals is also essential. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships at all levels are required.
