Job Description:

McKinlay Law, a leading City law firm, is seeking an experienced financial services credit manager to join their accounts team. This exciting opportunity offers the chance to work with autonomy and independence in a varied role that includes:

  • Chasing outstanding invoices and debts;
  • Ensuring all transactions are compliant with the Solicitor's Accounts Rules;
  • Directly communicating with clients on debtor balances;
  • Writing up the monthly credit control report;
  • Account reconciliations.

As a senior debt recovery specialist, you will possess confident communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with fee earners and clients regarding debt reports and invoices. With at least 2 years' experience in legal credit control, you will have an assertive and professional manner to influence key stakeholders, including senior members of management. A good knowledge of SARs, VAT, and legal billing is essential, with Elite experience being a plus.

Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
