Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform commissioning on mechanical extract systems and other smoke ventilation systems within the ventilation industry.
  • Manage projects to ensure they are completed on time and provide quotations for clients.
  • Wire, fix, and commission Mechanical Extract Systems.
  • Wire, fix, and commission a wide range of smoke ventilation products from various manufacturers.
  • Manage large or small installations and ensure that the team is working to the correct design and standards as per the drawings provided.
  • Communicate with other trades to ensure smooth completion of a project.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Electrical installations or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years' experience in commissioning extract or smoke ventilation systems.
  • SSSTS or higher.
  • JIB/ECS card Holder.
  • Span set, PASMA, IPAF.
  • Working knowledge of ADB; BS EN 12101; BS 9999; BS 9991 & BS 7346 pt 8.
  • Working knowledge of multiple manufacturers' equipment, e.g., Colt, SCS, FDS & SE Controls.
  • Current full clean driving licence.
  • NIC/IC electrical tester.
