Theatre Faculty Opportunities

Worcester Polytechnic Institute is seeking part-time adjunct faculty to teach Theatre courses and practicums. The ideal candidate is a practising scholar/artist with professional and collegiate directing, acting, design, or technical credits and strong connections to current scholarship and artistic trends in theater and live performance.

Responsibilities

  • Teach introductory courses, intermediate thematic seminars, and practicums in Theatre
  • Participate in department productions
  • Develop and implement creative and critical pedagogical approaches

Requirements

  • Terminal degree in Theatre or a related field
  • Strong teaching and artistic skills
  • Ability to jump into an existing curriculum
