Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Aspire People Limited is recruiting on behalf of an inclusive and supportive SEN school, seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dynamic team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and social development of children with complex needs. Key responsibilities include:

  • Working 1:1 or in small groups to support pupils with SEN in their learning and development.
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviours in a positive and nurturing way.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to implement tailored educational plans for each child.
  • Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
About You:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Experience working with SEN children, particularly those with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural challenges.
  • Empathy, patience, and resilience, with a genuine commitment to helping children overcome obstacles.
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
