At Johnson Controls, we are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our supply chain team. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and purchasing inventory from JCI factories and third-party suppliers to meet customer requirements while minimizing excess stock.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic inventory management plans to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align inventory levels with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address complex demand-supply imbalances and manage product transitions effectively.
  • Drive operational excellence through participation in projects aimed at reducing costs, improving processes, and enhancing supply chain efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Supply Planning within a global manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • Strong negotiation and communication abilities, with a knack for building trust-based relationships with stakeholders.
  • Excellent multitasking and prioritization skills, adept at managing competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in data analysis and problem-solving, with experience in process formulation and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP/JDE, proficiency in Microsoft applications, and familiarity with APICS, CPIM, CPSM, or CPF certification.
  • Six Sigma/Lean experience, demonstrating a commitment to driving efficiency and process optimization.
