About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic PAT Tester to join our team at phs Compliance. As a PAT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out Portable Appliance Testing on our clients' premises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Travel to customer sites to carry out Portable Appliance testing.
  • Complete tests on portable appliances within our customers' premises.
  • Produce results daily that meet the requirements and quality standards of clients and external accrediting bodies.
  • Represent phs Compliance, offering positive customer service and being the face of the company.
  • Ensure a professional service is delivered in a safe and timely manner on our clients' sites.
Requirements
  • Full UK manual driving license for a minimum of 12 months (subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points.
  • The flexibility to work outside core 9-5 hours and 8 hours on site.
  • C&G 2377 qualification preferable but not essential due to full training provided.
  • Ability to spend long periods of time completing manual work.
  • Ability to adapt to different environments and customers on a daily basis.
  • Basic IT, numeracy, literacy skills, and good communication skills.
  • Desire to pursue a career within an electrical industry.

  • A base salary of £23,866.72 with average earnings of circa up to £26,000 (base salary, overtime/weekends, and paid travel time over 60 minutes).
