Join Our Team: Higher Level Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Institute for Outdoor Learning. In this role, you will be part of a small team that is dedicated to delivering high-quality educational programs in an outdoor environment. As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will engage pupils in learning and develop their skills through various outdoor activities. Your role will involve providing a safe and secure learning environment, guiding and supporting pupils in developing their knowledge and skills, and participating in activities such as bush craft, land management, bee keeping, forest school, hiking, climbing, and paddle boarding.

About the Position:

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest and experience in outdoor learning and can work effectively with children and adolescents. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to high-quality teaching, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain a sense of humour and care for young people. A Disclosure and Barring Service check at Enhanced Level is also required. Salaries: The estimated salary for this position is £27,200 - £32,600 per annum.
