About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Talent & Development Specialist to join our team at Southern Water.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position, offering the opportunity to make a lasting impact on our workforce's skills and capabilities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement talent development programs to enhance employee capabilities and support career development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to address talent needs and identify key skills and capabilities required for our strategic objectives.
  • Engage with our Early Careers team to create pathways that attract and develop new talent, ensuring a pipeline of future-ready professionals.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in talent development, including creating and implementing talent programs.
  • Creative problem-solving skills to address talent gaps and design impactful development opportunities.
  • Commercial acumen to manage resources wisely and prioritize investments that drive results for our business.
  • Familiarity with Workday or a comparable HRIS system is desirable.

Estimated salary: up to £65,000 per annum.
