Your new role will involve reporting to the Director of Technical Accounting and will be a broad and varied position with key technical accounting responsibilities including:

  1. Accounting Policy manual updates
  2. Lease Accounting
  3. Revenue Recognition
  4. Financial Instruments
  5. Disposals and acquisitions
  6. FRS102 to FRS101 transitions
  7. Ad-hoc complex accounting issues
  8. IFRS queries
  9. Share-based payments

What you'll need to succeed is a qualified accountant with ACA training preferred. You will have excellent working knowledge of IFRS and accounting advisory/accounting policy work in practice or industry. You will need strong excel and the ability to communicate complex financials in an understandable and actionable manner.
