Job Title: Swim Safety and Leisure Services Officer
The Role:
As a Swim Safety and Leisure Services Officer with Wave Leisure Trust, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of our visitors by providing exceptional customer service and responding promptly to emergency situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular pool safety checks to identify potential hazards and take appropriate action to mitigate risks.
- Provide high-quality customer service, responding to queries and concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Act quickly and decisively in emergency situations, following established procedures to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean and organized facility, adhering to health and safety standards.
Person Specification:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, thinking clearly and making sound decisions.
- Basic knowledge of first aid principles and practices, with the ability to apply them in emergency situations.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work variable shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; certification in lifeguarding and first aid desirable.
