  • Software Development: Write and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable code for UGC tools development within Unreal Engine.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other lead programmers, designers, and artists to deliver technical systems for large game projects, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • System Design: Design and extend large code systems to improve maintainability, performance, and reliability, adhering to our project's vision, technical requirements, and style guide.
  • Code Review: Review and provide feedback on other team members' code, promoting best practices and a common coding culture within the team.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior engineers, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them grow and develop their skills.
  • Innovation: Drive innovation within the UGC tools team, encouraging creative solutions to technical challenges and staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements.
Requirements
  • Experience: Extensive experience as a programmer in the game industry, preferably with Unreal Engine experience.
  • Engine Programming: Experience as an engine programmer is strongly desired.
  • Programming Skills: Strong C++ programming and debugging skills, with a solid understanding of algorithm and data structure concepts.
  • Multi-Threading: Experience with multi-threaded programming and a strong understanding of modern CPU and GPU architectures.
  • UGC Tools: Experience developing or working with UGC tools or systems is preferred, but not required.
  • Passion: A passion for creating tools that empower creativity and enhance the player experience.
