Job Title: Chef De Partie

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and imaginative Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Holroyd Howe. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supporting the senior kitchen team in the day-to-day running of the operation. This includes working across all sections of the kitchen, cooking a wide variety of dishes, and training and mentoring junior staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the senior kitchen team in the day-to-day running of the operation.
  • Work across all sections of the kitchen and have proficiency in cooking a wide variety of dishes.
  • Train and mentor junior staff members, including Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters.
  • Ensure that all legislative and Government guidelines are adhered to, including The Food Safety Act, Health and Safety at Work Act, and COSHH regulations.

Requirements:
  • Experience working within Education catering.
  • A progressive career to date.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current food trends.
  • A real passion for food and customer service.
  • Good Health & Safety knowledge.
  • Ability to work within set budgets.
  • Knowledge of cost and menu planning.
  • Familiarity with training and coaching a team.
